A survey site counts as paying Bitcoin only when the current account can turn approved survey value into a defined BTC delivery method and you can prove the final receipt. The word Bitcoin on a landing page is not enough. Before answering surveys, identify the internal reward unit, minimum redemption, BTC rail, recipient format, verification requirement and receiving evidence. Reject any candidate that leaves those fields hidden until after weeks of work.

Five different claims can hide behind one Bitcoin logo
Treat each claim as a separate product. A site may pay directly on-chain, pay through Lightning, use a processor, provide a redeemable voucher or convert an internal balance into BTC only at cashout. A sixth, weaker claim merely displays the dollar value in Bitcoin while offering no current BTC redemption at all. Only the first five can become real Bitcoin, and each needs different evidence.

Freecash’s official Bitcoin withdrawal guide, updated July 21, 2026, describes a direct withdrawal in which the user enters a Bitcoin address and a USD cashout amount, then receives BTC in that wallet. The platform says a released payment generally arrives within about an hour, although blockchain conditions can extend that time. This is an on-chain Bitcoin route, not a FaucetPay integration merely because FaucetPay can also receive Bitcoin deposits.

Freecash also demonstrates why first-cashout rules belong in the matrix
The current first-withdrawal guide says users must verify their email, complete identity verification with a selfie and physical document, and reach a regional first-withdrawal threshold between five and twenty dollars. Later withdrawals are simpler. A comparison that lists only a low Bitcoin method minimum can therefore misrepresent the first real barrier. The user must decide whether the identity cost is acceptable before building the balance.

This is real Bitcoin, but it is not the same destination as an ordinary on-chain BTC address.

Do not paste an on-chain address into a Lightning field
A Bitcoin address and a Lightning Invoice describe different payment systems. An invoice can include an amount and expiry; a Lightning Address resembles an email address but routes a Lightning payment. A normal BTC deposit address cannot substitute for either one. When a survey platform offers several Lightning formats, generate the requested credential inside the receiving wallet immediately before cashout.

Cointiply does not create a Bitcoin transaction for every completed survey. Surveys and other activities credit internal Coins. Its current payment guide lists a 50,000-Coin minimum for Bitcoin, says Cointiply presently covers the blockchain withdrawal fee and gives a normal processing range of 24–72 hours before blockchain timing. The final sent payment includes a transaction link that can be checked publicly.

The survey does not determine the Cointiply payout asset
The survey provider supplies the questionnaire, but the Cointiply account receives Coins. Bitcoin is chosen later on the Cashout page. Calling each completed questionnaire a Bitcoin survey is therefore shorthand for “survey value can eventually be redeemed as Bitcoin.” That distinction matters when comparing advertised survey value with the number of satoshis finally delivered.

For BitPay, the user claims the crypto reward, receives an invitation to create or configure a BitPay account and links a receiving wallet address. BitPay then handles delivery to that wallet. The processor is an additional stage that must be included in the route evidence.

The same platform also documents Azteco Bitcoin vouchers. PrizeRebel describes them as digital Bitcoin gift cards that are redeemed into a compatible wallet through the Lightning Network, without requiring an Azteco account. A user comparing BitPay and Azteco must therefore compare two different recipient setups and proof chains, not two brand names for the same withdrawal.

Its July 2025 payment-method list names Bitcoin as its most widely available method, while the current help centre says ordinary payout processing generally takes 48–72 hours and a processed Bitcoin payout can then take several more hours to reach the wallet. The route exists, but the user must verify it in the country-specific menu.

A current route card is stronger than a permanent ranking position
These examples are not ordered from best to worst. Freecash may offer direct on-chain BTC but require first-cashout identity verification. Surveytime uses Lightning and therefore needs a different wallet. Cointiply has a larger internal threshold. PrizeRebel introduces a processor or voucher. Pawns.app varies by region. The strongest choice is the route compatible with the user’s country, privacy limit and existing wallet—not the first name in a list.

A human example: the same ten dollars becomes three different Bitcoin tasks
Ola has ten dollars of approved survey value on three platforms. One asks for a standard Bitcoin address, one asks for a Lightning Invoice and one sends a BitPay invitation. The displayed dollar value is the same, but the operational task is not. Her FaucetPay BTC deposit address may suit the first route if the amount meets current deposit conditions. It cannot replace a Lightning Invoice, and it should not be pasted into a processor profile without checking that platform’s supported address requirements.

The four units that must not be mixed

The survey’s advertised value can differ from approved value, the platform can convert points at a fixed or changing rate, and the BTC amount can be calculated only at redemption.

Use the BTC Delivery Ratio
The BTC Delivery Ratio measures how much of the approved value selected for Bitcoin redemption becomes usable BTC in the receiving wallet. Divide the final BTC value at the redemption timestamp by the approved value spent on that redemption. This captures conversion spread, source deductions and delivery loss without confusing them with survey disqualifications, which belong in the separate approved-value metric.

- Use the same timestamp or quoted rate for both sides.

FaucetPay fits only one part of the Bitcoin map
FaucetPay’s current supported-network snapshot lists Bitcoin deposits on the Bitcoin network. It does not list Lightning as a BTC deposit network. The practical inference is that an on-chain survey payout may be sent to the current FaucetPay BTC deposit address when the amount and sender rules are compatible, while a Lightning-only payout requires a Lightning wallet or another explicitly supported destination. Do not convert one into the other by changing the text pasted into the field.

A FaucetPay deposit address is not a linked withdrawal address
FaucetPay defines a deposit address as an address used to receive cryptocurrency into the FaucetPay account. A linked address is an external wallet saved for withdrawals out of FaucetPay. For a compatible on-chain Bitcoin survey payout into FaucetPay, the deposit address is the relevant destination. Using a linked address sends funds elsewhere and does not create a FaucetPay balance credit.

Check FaucetPay’s incoming minimum before using it as the destination
FaucetPay’s help centre tells users to review the minimum deposit, supported network and special conditions shown for the selected currency. A survey platform can successfully broadcast a small Bitcoin transaction that still fails the receiving service’s crediting rule. The correct check is made in the FaucetPay Deposit screen immediately before withdrawal, not from an old comparison article.

Receiving BTC in FaucetPay creates a second threshold later

On July 24, 2026, FaucetPay displayed a normal Bitcoin withdrawal minimum of 0.0012 BTC with a 0.00001 BTC fee and a priority minimum of 0.0045 BTC with a 0.00005 BTC fee. The values are dynamic, so a survey user should plan this later exit before directing several cashouts into the account.

A Bitcoin payout can still be custodial
Receiving BTC in an exchange, Stake account, BitPay-linked service or FaucetPay balance does not automatically create self-custody. Self-custody begins when the Bitcoin reaches a wallet whose private keys or recovery phrase the user controls. A custodial destination can still be useful, but the comparison should name it honestly and include any later withdrawal minimum.

BitPay requires the platform claim, processor status and wallet receipt. An Azteco route needs voucher issuance and redemption evidence. An internal points balance alone proves none of these.

Amber means Bitcoin appears in marketing or a third-party ranking but the account-level route is regional, hidden or incomplete. Red means the site asks for money, a wallet connection or secret data to unlock a supposedly earned Bitcoin reward.
