Start by defining the claim

Write what the proof is supposed to establish: that one user was paid, that the current site pays, that a particular coin reaches FaucetPay, or that the route is repeatable. One old payment can support the first claim while failing the other three.

Use the Five-Level Proof Independence Score

Give the evidence the highest level it actually reaches.

  • Level zero — decorative image: no source, date, route or identifier can be checked
  • Level one — contextual image: site, coin, amount and date appear internally consistent
  • Level two — route-consistent proof: it matches the payout method currently offered
  • Level three — traceable record: payout ID or blockchain hash agrees with the claimed details
  • Level four — recipient-side confirmation: the intended account or address shows the matching credit
  • Level five — personal reproduction: your own small current test completes under the saved rules

A genuine screenshot can still be misleading

The image may come from another faucet, another coin, a staff account, a large promotional payout or a period before rules changed. Verify the current withdrawal page, threshold, recipient type and coin before treating the proof as relevant.

Check provenance before pixel details

Find where the file first appeared, who supplied it and whether the same image is reused across unrelated sites. A copied image with a new caption is stronger evidence of recycling than a minor font inconsistency is of editing.

Visual anomalies are clues, not verdicts

Cropped borders, inconsistent spacing, impossible timestamp formats, mismatched fonts and blurred identifiers can indicate editing. Compression, localization and app updates can create similar artifacts. Do not declare a proof authentic merely because the pixels look clean.

Match the unit and coin precisely

FaucetPay operator payouts are expressed in the coin's smallest unit, and the account history ultimately represents a native coin amount. Check whether the screenshot confuses satoshis, whole coins, points or fiat estimates. An implausible unit conversion can expose a fabricated record.

A FaucetPay payout ID is not a public blockchain hash

The current API returns a platform payout ID for an internal send. That identifier can help the operator and FaucetPay trace the record, but it normally cannot be verified by pasting it into a public explorer. A proof that presents a platform ID as an on-chain TXID is technically inconsistent.

When a blockchain hash should be verifiable

If the proof claims that FaucetPay withdrew funds to an external wallet, the TXID should open on the correct network and match the destination, asset and amount. A hash from another chain, unrelated recipient or different date does not verify the advertised route.

Internal proof has a privacy limitation

A recipient's FaucetPay history is not a public ledger. A screenshot of it cannot be independently opened by strangers. The strongest internal evidence combines the recipient entry, source payout record and operator payout ID, with sensitive account details masked.

Check whether the amount is representative

A single high-value payout can come from referrals, advertising, a manual promotion or a staff transfer rather than ordinary faucet claims. Compare it with the current claim value and threshold. Proof of payment is not proof of a realistic earning rate.

Check the timeline

The claim, withdrawal request, operator completion and recipient credit should occur in a plausible order. A recipient credit dated before the source request, a future timestamp or an instant external confirmation on a congested route deserves further investigation.

Worked recycled-proof case

Two unrelated faucet sites show the same FaucetPay image with identical amount, time and partially visible recipient, but each places a different logo above it. The file proves only that one image exists. It cannot authenticate either site's current payout route.

Worked internally valid but weak case

A screenshot shows a plausible DOGE credit with a current interface and matching source name, but no operator record or payout ID is available. The image reaches level one or two. It can justify a small test, not a large balance or endorsement.

Worked strong internal case

The faucet provides a payout ID, native LTC amount and completion time. The recipient's FaucetPay LTC history shows the same amount and time. The records agree, although the internal payment has no public blockchain hash. This reaches recipient-side confirmation.

Your own bounded test remains the highest relevant proof

Save the current rules, reach the smallest practical payout and match the resulting FaucetPay history. One personal payment does not guarantee future reliability, but it is more relevant than a gallery of images controlled by the operator.

Do not upload sensitive account screenshots to unknown checkers

Payment-proof tools can retain images, metadata or account information. Redact email, account identifiers and unrelated balances before sharing evidence with legitimate support. Pixel forensics cannot replace checking your own receiving account.

The final classification

Call the proof fake only when evidence shows fabrication or false attribution. Otherwise label it decorative, weak, route-consistent, traceable or recipient-confirmed. Precise uncertainty is more useful than a confident guess.
