Should This Faucet Get Your Email, a FaucetPay Deposit Address or a Personal Wallet Address?
Do not choose between email and address by habit. First identify where the faucet is sending the reward. An internal FaucetPay payout can use an account identifier; an on-chain deposit into FaucetPay needs the correct FaucetPay deposit address; a direct payout needs a compatible personal wallet address. When the selected method, field label and coin do not agree, stop and clarify the route.

Determine whether the reward is meant to arrive as an internal FaucetPay payment, an external blockchain deposit into FaucetPay or a direct blockchain payment to another wallet. Each route accepts a different kind of public recipient detail.
Make the Three-Record Match
Submit a value only when three records agree.
- Payout method — FaucetPay, Direct Wallet, another provider or an on-chain deposit route
- Recipient field — email, username, account, deposit address, wallet address, memo or payout hash
- Asset route — exact coin and, when blockchain movement is involved, the exact network
Route A — internal FaucetPay payment
FaucetPay’s current payout API can identify a registered recipient by email, username, wallet address or payout-user hash. The faucet decides which supported identifier its form accepts. When the selected provider is FaucetPay and the field explicitly says FaucetPay email, use the email registered on the intended receiving account rather than a personal wallet address.
Route B — blockchain deposit into FaucetPay
Some sources send an ordinary blockchain transaction to the deposit address shown for a particular FaucetPay currency. Open the Wallet or Deposit view independently, choose the exact asset, read the supported network and minimum, then copy the address and any required memo, tag or payment ID. An email cannot replace this address.
Route C — direct payment to a personal wallet
When the selected payout method is Direct Wallet or equivalent, the form needs a public receiving address supported by that coin and network. This route bypasses the FaucetPay balance. Do not use a FaucetPay email merely because the site mentions FaucetPay elsewhere.
A linked address points out of FaucetPay
FaucetPay creates deposit addresses for inbound blockchain transfers. A linked entry stores a destination outside the account for a later withdrawal. These records serve opposite directions. Do not copy a linked withdrawal destination into a faucet form unless the faucet is explicitly paying that external address directly.
When the field only says FaucetPay account
Do not guess. Check the selected provider, placeholder pattern, nearby example, coin selector and the faucet’s own payout documentation. A string containing an at-sign suggests email; a long coin-formatted string suggests an address; a short account name may be a username. If the form accepts several formats without explaining the route, ask support or abandon the test.
A coin name does not settle the network question
A token can exist on several networks, and the same generic address label can hide a network-specific requirement. Match the network displayed by the sender with the network supported by the receiving address. Include memo, tag or payment ID when the receiver requires it.
Recipient details are public; control secrets are not
A faucet can need a receiving identifier. It does not need the FaucetPay password, mailbox password, two-factor code, API key, private key, recovery phrase or remote access to the device. A request for any of those values changes the result from enter to stop.
Read the saved value back
After saving the payout detail, compare the visible beginning and ending characters with the original record. Recheck the selected provider, coin and network. This catches typing errors, stale settings and clipboard malware before a balance is released.
Prove the route with one smallest payment
For an internal FaucetPay payment, match the source payout record with the coin and amount in FaucetPay history. For an on-chain route, preserve the transaction hash and confirm that the receiving account credited the correct network. A form that merely accepts the value has not yet proved the route.
Use enter, ask or stop
Finish the field review with one explicit result.
- Enter — provider, field, coin and network agree, and only a public recipient detail is requested
- Ask — the wording is ambiguous but the site provides a credible support or documentation path
- Stop — the route conflicts, the network is missing, the value changes after pasting or the site requests authentication secrets
Worked decision — explicit FaucetPay email
The user selects FaucetPay, chooses DOGE and sees a field labelled FaucetPay email. The authenticated FaucetPay account shows the intended email. The three records agree, so the user enters that email and verifies one small internal credit.
Worked decision — address required after selecting Deposit
The source says it sends an on-chain LTC payment to FaucetPay and asks for an LTC address. The user opens the LTC Deposit view, checks the network and minimum, copies the displayed deposit address and verifies the first transaction. Using the account email would not fit this route.
Worked decision — generic wallet field after Direct Wallet
The user switches the provider from FaucetPay to Direct Wallet. The form changes to DOGE wallet address. The correct value is now a public Dogecoin receiving address controlled by the chosen wallet or compatible custodian, not the FaucetPay email.
If the wrong detail was already entered
Change it before requesting payment whenever the site permits editing. If the source already marked the payout as sent, preserve the recipient value, coin, amount, timestamp and source status before contacting support. Do not keep claiming while an unresolved destination error can repeat.
